Omaha elementary, 4th grade class, has a Covid positive student today

The Millard Sc board voted down a school mask mandate by just 1 vote. Teachers, staff & principal fought for a mask mandate but lost by 1 board member's selfish vote.

Today my grandson's 4th grade class was exposed. My grandson wears his mask at school, but only a few others do too.

Here's what the school told parents how to proceed with this news of class exposure:

Monitor your children for 14 days.
If they show symptoms have them tested & quarantine for 10 days.

That's it.
No mask mandated following this news today.
No option to withdraw your child as a safety precaution with homeschooling.
