CA-GOV: John Cox served a subpoena during tonight's recall debate

@MelodyGutierrez
CA Republican gubernatorial candidate John Cox was served a subpoena during tonight’s recall debate in Sacramento with two other candidates looking to replace @Gavinnewsom. Subpoena is related to unpaid political consulting fees from Cox’s unsuccessful gubernatorial bid in 2018

consider him better than a republican, but I don’t agree. He is for minimum wage, a woman’s right to choose, etc

None of the alternatives are great on dealing with COVID

Only reason I selected him as an alternative is he is the highest polling of the Democratic alternatives

I am not recommending him

The best choice for the state is Newsom, and a no vote on the recall

He’s the only acceptable candidate.
Make the recall symbolic and ineffective.
There’s far too many (46) candidates in total.
