(9,998 posts)I just find it infuriating that with all the bitching and moaning about needing to have in-person learning, they're STILL willing to die on the Mask Wearing hill, which is going to end up resulting in more schools having to close due to outbreaks.
And THEN, they'll bitch and moan about the schools being shut down. The cycle continues.

(100,063 posts)But I see why we need it and why it's not going away until the assholes face reality. Either we all work together to end this thing or we all suffer. But the sad thing is the latter isn't going to happen at least for now.

(5,810 posts)How many teachers and students will have to be exposed and sickened before they pull the plug on in school classes? We have one county in our area that is not even reporting on the number of teachers and staff who tested positive each day. They report students but not teachers. In the other counties reporting, the number of teachers who test positive is out numbering the students by a lot! Withholding that information from parents is criminal.

Masks aren't a catch-all, but they do help.
