Since he negotiated a deal with the Taliban personally, with the assistance of his Secretary of State, Mike Pompe, he could do a great favor for his nation.

He could travel to Kabul and talk to the Taliban leaders and get them to guarantee safe passage for all Americans and those Afghan citizens that helped them and now wish to leave the country.

Surely with his vast persuasive abilities, he could make sure all the Americans and our allies get out safely and quickly.

Trump could do that if he was a real "patriot".

Since he made the deal, it's the least he could do.

Biden should request that favor from him.

Biden could have come out and said that trump’s deal was unenforceable and Taliban is not to be trusted, trump reduced troops to a level that would not support an orderly withdrawal and ensure safety of the remaining troops and citizens wanting out, etc.
