Massive props to online insurrectionist investigators that busted this scumbag

In addition to assault he should be charged with perjury for lying about his role and claiming he is a Democrat. What a scumbag!!! He almost hit away with it if not for sedition trackers finding more video.

https://www.cnn.com/2021/08/18/politics/robert-reeder-capitol-riot-sentencing/index.html

Prosecutors said during the truncated hearing that they notified the judge, as well as Reeder's defense attorneys, about the new footage on Wednesday morning. Prosecutors planned to go forward with sentencing and request the maximum six-month jail term, but after reviewing more of the videos, they asked to delay the hearing. He is now scheduled to be sentenced on October 8.
US District Judge Thomas Hogan said he was "concerned" about the new videos because Reeder was previously portrayed as "more as an observer than a participant" in the violence. Reeder's attorney in court said that "on first blush, the clip is problematic" but said there might be other footage that could help his defense arguments. Reeder is seeking a sentence of probation.
"The @SedtitionHunters team are extremely grateful for all the challenging work the FBI and the DOJ are putting into each individual case and their willingness to accept the assistance from our community of researchers," the group told CNN in a statement. "The quick response to last minute discovery of images showing a suspected assault clearly shows the dedication by all involved."
A Justice Department spokesman declined to comment about the case or the new video.

1. The DoJ still has Trump rats!!!

I have a feeling that the "lawyers" prosecuting these cases are either Trump rats or have received instructions from the AG's office, not to be too zealous in these prosecutions!

It seems that either the DoJ is ignoring the obvious or the FBI Trump rats aren't conducting very thorough investigations...now this is only a theory...but when a DoJ lawyer can't provide a federal judge with an answer as to why American taxpayers have to foot the bill for damages caused on 1/6...while the insurrectionists are paying low fines...that's a sure sign that some of these "prosecutors" aren't doing all they can...

We haven't seen any of the high level plotters charged yet, and many of the low-level minions are getting really sweet plea deals.

14. Meantime, the violent threats in DC continue.

At this moment, there is an active bomb threat going on just outside the Library of Congress. Heard a brief mention on radio news and checked Huffpost.

A man in a black pickup drove onto the sidewalk. Says he has a bomb and detonator. He is filming himself and police reaction. Communicating with police using a whiteboard. He has announced that "The revolution has begun." Wants to speak with Biden.

Offices and homes in the area have been evacuated. DC cops, FBI, and ATF are present at the scene.

Guess somebody thinks he can reinstate TFG

the video is problematic but don’t worry. There is the video coming out next week where my client set up the lemonade stand to give out free lemonade to the Capital police.

Don’t pay no mind to the fuzzy sand the bumps in the video when you see it.

not nearly enuf people have been charged
seems like many of the ones who have been charged are charged with something akin to littering
seems like their fines are as trivial as a slap on the wrist (or a parking ticket)
seems like we hardly have any people in doj working on identifying those terrorists

and we are learning what people can get away with

Hoping we might forget. A small part of me thinks that the President doesn't want this investigation. Remember they let Bush/Cheney walk away.

10. When someone dies in the commission of a crime, the death is declared a homicide.

Ofcr Sicknick was killed in the line of duty. Even though the coroner ruled his death "from natural causes," he was pepper-sprayed with bear repellant, around 2:20 PM on Jan 6, which caused TWO thromboembolic strokes, required life support, and he died 24 hours later.

Two men — Julian Elie Khater of State College, Pa., and George Pierre Tanios of Morgantown, W.Va. — were arrested in March over allegedly spraying a chemical on Sicknick. They were charged with conspiring to injure officers and assaulting federal officers and other crimes.

All seditionists should be treated as co-conspirators in his murder.

The DOJ keeps bringing minimal charges.

Let's keep an eye on this and see what happens. Just identifying them doesn't get it done.

It is important and vital to identify the people who rob a bank. But it doesn't stop bank robberies if you arrest them only to charge them with littering in the bank lobby and let them go with time served.
