Summary (long thread) of the crazy wannabe Capitol bomber's livestreamed rant

I watched the 30-minute livestream of Ray Rosenberry, the truck bomb guy in DC, so you don't have to.

It is as unsettling a ramble as you would expect.

Here's the summary:


He starts by saying he can't detonate his own bomb; only Joe (Biden) can by 'shooting a bullet through his window.'

'You shoot me, there's two and a half blocks going with me,' he says.


He makes a reference to Biden mentioning 'revolution.' 'The revolution is here, Joe,' he says. 'They know I'm here. I've done told 'em to clear the blocks.'


'We've cut off health care, I can't even get damn shots for my back no more, but they'll give them to those superstar athletes, won't they?'

He references to someone named 'David Henson' (?) that he's got the police coming and he's trying to get Joe Biden on the phone.
'They don't realize I can't set this thing off. When this bullet hits my window, this thing goes off, and it ain't my fault.'

He claims he sees snipers in the distance. 'They better listen before they shoot.'


He says the bomb inside his truck was built by a member of the military. 'Y'all were the ones who trained a man to build it. He blowed his legs off building them. So this thing's right.'

He claims the man told him when the 'decimals' reach a certain peak, that the bomb will go.


He tells Biden that if he pulls the trigger, 'four more of them are going off.'

'They're sitting in cars all over this fucking place here, cause you thought the South wasn't coming.'

He tells Biden he has a choice.


'I ain't here to blow nobody up. I ain't here to hurt nobody. If I was, I wouldn't have told them to tell people to leave. I woulda gunned this motherfucker and rode it right up in your front door.'

He says he's here for a reason: 'the American people.'


Tells Biden that if Biden wants to save lives, he can save his. 'I wanna go home on Sunday. I wanna go home and see my wife.'

'You wanna take the chance of blowing up two-and-a-half city blocks? Cause that toolbox is full. Ammonium nitrate is full.'


He's got a large, rusted cannister on his lap, as well.

He says he wants to go home just like the Afghans want to go home. 'All them people's lives is on your hands.'


'Afghanistan, I'm standing for you, too. Them motherfuckers should've bombed their asses and made sure you were all right before they left.'

'So if they blow me up, Afghanistan, I hope someone takes revenge on that. Cause I'm a patriot. I love this land. I'll die for this land.'


He chastises people who claim to be patriots sitting at home 'fishing and golfing,' and tells them 'it's time.'

He references the other four vehicles again:

'If you take me out, you'll never know where them other four are. It's gonna be a chain reaction.'


'Don't break my windows. Send somebody up here to talk to me. I didn't even carry a gun. I didn't carry nothing.'

'Joe, I love you, man. I love Nancy. I love all of y'all. I love the man that's getting ready to put a bullet in my head.'


He says Biden better hope that man is a Democrat and not a Republican, 'cause this revolution won't stop.'

He repeats that he wants to live, to go home and see his grandbaby. 'But she's gonna live in peace, even if I don't get to see it.'


He keeps referencing the 'decimals' that will make the bomb go off and repeats that Biden's military built the bomb.

He says he's glad Biden got rid of the sirens because they were making him nervous. 'Send somebody to talk to me, Joe.'


'I didn't want to come. But I had to. The American people sent me.'

He says he was told how to deactivate the bomb, but 'that little blue light goes off decimals.'

Seems like he's indicating a device on the bomb that responds to decibel levels.


He continuously repeats that if anyone dies, that he wants to be the only one, and begs for the area to be evacuated.

'I'm a good man, but you're taking it too far. I'm a good American patriot.'

'If you crack these windows, the blood's on your hands.'


Gets darker as he threatens Biden that one of the other four vehicles 'might be at your back door. Better send somebody to talk to me, Joe.'

He tells Democrats they're killing America, and making people want to leave America.


He gives a better glimpse of one of the more frightening images so far - two bags filled with change, clearly meant to annihilate anyone/anything should the explosion go off.


He tells Biden he's got 'nickel, copper, and that zinc-ass shit y'all call pennies.' Evidently he blames Biden for what he considers poor-quality change, which is... an unusual complaint.


We're about 15 minutes in now and one thing is evident: Rosenberry doesn't seem clear on what he wants, other than to talk to Biden. About what? Not explicit.


Now he plays a weird game of verbal chicken. 'Tell 'em to pull the trigger, Joe! I'm ready!'

He says he lied twice to his wife. 'Told her I'm going fishing today.'

Claims he threw about $3,000 out his window, 'and you wouldn't believe what happened.'


'A man picked up a big handful and gave it to another man who needed it. Your money ain't no good, Joe. Got dirty money.'

He says he has no idea where the other four vehicles are at; that they all came in different ways, 'but we came from the same place.'


Shows off the bomb which has a speaker on it and 'tannerite' (?).

He claims the military guy who built it knows it works because he's used the design 'many a time.'


Long meandering drag here where he continues to challenge Biden to shoot him. Repeating that Biden has 'options' and that he doesn't.

'I'll step out of this truck and walk away.' I'm guessing that's not where this is headed.


He says he won't blow up the Capitol. 'Joe Biden is. Nancy Pelosi. 52 Democrats.'

Says he knows Biden is asking to pull the trigger, but he's got big balls to come out to DC, and 'they's some humstringers out here.'

'I just got chose for the job. Unlike you.'


'This ain't about politics.'

(note: it seems to be very much about politics!)


'I don't care if Donald Trump ever becomes the President again. Don't matter to me.'

'But I think y'all Democrats need to step down,' which... seems political?



'Y'all need to understand people don't want you there.'

He says he has 'a wife, a kid, a grandbaby, a daughter-in-law, another daughter, another son-in-law... yeah, Joe. I got two kids... I'm not naming no names. They don't even know I'm here.'


'Talk about this revolution, people. We got the foundation started. We just don't want to hurt nobody. We're not like the Democrats.'

You may have noted, like me, this seems to be another logic discrepancy! since he has a bomb in his truck.


He brings up Afghanistan again, 'all them kids that've been raped... just let the Taliban run right through.'

'I guess some people done SOME things SOMEtimes. Well look here, you little bitch. Some people's doing some things now, and it's the fuckin' South.'


'Thank you Georgia, thank you North Carolina, South Carolina for allowing me to make it through.'

'They chose me to do this shit. I was the one chosen. You know what? I don't mind a bit. America needs a voice, I'll give it to them.'



'But I'll tell you what, Joe. You pop these windows out, it's over. And it's gonna be a chain reaction. You didn't believe nobody'd ever come up here in the first place. Why should you believe there's four more sitting around town? This one's just the start.'


He adds - again - that he doesn't want to die in his truck. 'I'll die in federal prison.'

'You step down out of office, I'll step down out of this truck.'

There it is.


'Nobody deserves to die, Joe. Don't do it, man.'

He says the 'people' want airstrikes in Afghanistan to keep the Taliban from killing people.

And that's where it ends.
