The Texas Education Agency on Thursday said that Gov. Greg Abbott’s (R) executive order banning local mask mandates in schools will not be enforced as it faces legal challenges from multiple districts.

Abbott and Paxton kinda lost at the TX Supreme Court today, due to a technicality. They went directly to the Supreme Court, but the Supreme Court stated they must go through the appeals courts first.

I hate these tweet headline posts!

In a couple weeks they’ll deny they ever pushed the anti-mask rules.

They won't enforce a mask ban until litigation is resolved, which could take a long time.

We have either been time warped back to the late 1600’s or more likely just have some of the stupidest damn people living in the USA. My best guess is the latter.

Who the hell in their right mind issues orders to ban people from mandating masks in a pandemic?

A bunch of dumb, corrupt, shameless bunch of fools.

Frisco ISD did not put in place a mask policy and with maybe 1 in 4 wearing masks at best we are notified of 1-3 new cases daily.

Me, I was directly exposed at my new job (second week) after nearly dying with Covid last September. I tested negative yesterday, bit I have lung irritation and runny nose today. Of course, it could be allergies. Will retest at work on Sunday unless I am certainly sick sooner.

And oh yeah, our new rescue kitten is sneezing today. Might need a trip to the vet tomorrow. And yes, kitties can also get Covid (playing or licking my work shoes???)

Fun times. Fun times to live in TX.
