(27,575 posts)But Israel has a young population, with many under the eligible age of 12 for vaccination. That means only 58% of Israel's total citizenry is fully vaccinated. And yes, they need to do better.
We in the US have fully vaccinated only 52% of our total population. But compared to us, Israelis are more highly vaccinated but they are still in trouble. We all need to do better.

(13,417 posts)This delta variant is one of the most contagious viruses ever known to man. We're very fortunate we have the vaccines now as we would be seeing massive death tolls and hospital system collapses around the world without them.
