I see this as good news. TFG would be bragging about this.

Biden said that 13,000 people have been flown out of Afghanistan since Saturday and that the U.S. government had assisted in the evacuation of thousands more on private charter flights. He said 5,700 people were airlifted out on Thursday.

I don’t think he really wanted to disclose the methods they were using to rescue some of the vulnerable people and bring them to the airport. Just my impression
