(like me), you can have it replaced. Contact the institution that sponsored it (e.g., pharmacy, hospital, etc.) and just tell them that you can't find it. I was given another card within 48 hours. It's now in my desk drawer (I only have one drawer) and will not remove unless absolutely necessary.

I've heard other states have that capability.
CVS for some reason has my gender wrong.
