Idiot RWNJs have castigated the Biden admin for not rescuing Afghanis from outside of Kabul, when in fact they were just NOT BRAGGING about rescuing Afghanis from outside of Kabul. To Trumpists, the MOST important thing is to brag, brag, brag about what you're "doing", even if you're not actually doing it. So the option of achieving something quietly -- and therefore more safely -- would never occur to them.

"Covert" is the opposite of "in your face" so of course it's a mystery to RWNJs, even as they foment all kinds of conspiracy theories of things being done in secret. When they finally encounter a case where something needs to be done in secret for damned good reasons, it never occurs to them that would be an option.
