Why do people taunt wild animals, dangerous situations, and deadly diseases?

It seems that every person that mocks the Covid, or the vaccine, ends up dead? They don't believe it will kill you and they want everyone to know what they believe. Then they get sick and die.

Like some person at the zoo that wants to climb the fence so they can get a closer look at the little kitty lion. Then they are mauled to death.

What's with these people? Do they think they are invincible?

Here is a simple lesson: Don't mock a deadly disease. It may come to visit you. None of us are immune from the threats in this world.

This is not World Wide Wrestling. People are not amused with your bravado.

I hate that number now. I plan on going from 70 to 72. If I make that far. kairos12 Aug 2021 #9

no matter how stupid we become. The number itself represents the average, so as we become less intelligent, the goal posts merely shuffle down the field.

we would go watch. Whenever there was a hurricane, we went to the ocean. Thunder & lightening...go stand outside. Thunder and lightening at the beach? Go in the ocean. It was a high-drama household, and nothing dangerous went by without getting up close to it. I don't know what that was about. Drunk Irish Catholics getting a cheap thrill?

Drunks do get angry and more aggressive. Surviving feels good but a pandemic should not be challenged IMO.

getting a vaccine, unless they had to pay for it. Nothing fun about being sick, especially if it's not due to a hang-over.

I've learned to relax, shake my head, and go with the flow.

It does not seem survival oriented, but even animals mock other animals who they know can't get them.
Small free dogs delight in prancing before the caged and fenced big mean dogs.
