They just suggested tha tpeople take out their rain gear but the show is going on.
This is not good with this large crowd and possible lightning.
A stampede is not needed tonight.

With hurricane on the way. Just plain stupid. But it shows what lengths we murrikins will go to for our entertainment which we must have no matter what.

(4,170 posts)All day CNN predicts an oncoming hurricane, a continuing Covid pandemic, and still plug this ridiculous concert.
This could have been good a month from now. Stupid.

(268,724 posts)Now they're showing the lightning strikes int he background - should have been postponed until Labor Day weekend.

(4,170 posts)And now whomever Cooper is talking to is saying how wonderful the concert was to incentivize people to get their first shot - so they could go.
So that is NOT a fully vaxxed crowd.

(268,724 posts)They want their concert. Who is this idiot with Anderson?
sheshe2
(83,661 posts)Fact is CNN is totally indifferent to the spread of the virus as they hosted a super spreader event just like TFG.
