Here in northern Virginia. Driving around this morning I saw many kids at the bus stop without masks.. Driving by schools I saw them congregating around without masks. watching parents walk their kids into school very little if any masking going on and after they drop off the kids the adults hanging around and talking to each other in group's.
I fear northern Virginia is gonna start Exploding in cases in about 10 days.
God help us all.

Most of the kids aren't vaccinated around here, but his three close friends all are.

(19,233 posts)And the Minnesota State Fair starts this week to boot. Over 2 million visitors are expecting. 3 times the size of Sturgis. No mask mandate in place either, for the fair or school.

(9,258 posts)Previously the district was going to be masks optional but the county board of health is now recommending everyone be masked, and this district goes with the county recommendation. Under optional they were going to wear masks anyway, per their mom the nurse. Grandson (second grade) and I are going to order more cute masks from Amazon today.

I think her school district will quickly revert to virtual learning if necessary.
