A victory to be sure... but a Wake County Superior Court panel is unlikely to have the final say.

However - constitutional issues are handled by a 3-judge panel that is selected by the chief justice, which went red (very) narrowly in the last election.

Roy Cooper, NC Dems and courts. This is a good way to end Cawthorn, because of his not give a shit concern about flood victims will mean little to his cult. States rights!!!!! Clean house here, make NC great. Take this show nation wide were you can Dems. Georgia has the highest voter registration ever, that you Stacy. State by state, eliminate stupid and corrupt. Our taxes need to be paying for people working for us. If not get out, and, no pension when you are proven corrupt. Trump should not receive a penny, nor his skank.

We are pretty much evenly divided, as evidenced by the last elections for Governor (won by a Dem) and Senator (won by the odious Tillis).

Trump won NC 49.9% to 48.6%. That's not "Deep Red" by any means. Save the "Deep Red" label for Alabama.

I agree with you. Even though Trump won our state twice most people don't know that he only won based off of plurality twice and not the majority of votes. Our state is literally in the middle politically. It's almost 50-50 dem-republican composition.

back in the good old days before the Klanners under Bobby Jones rose up and Jesse Helms started spewing his poison over the airwaves. The pols weren't horrible and the preachers minded their own business.

Maybe this fascination with pushing the state back to 1920 will end.

progressive state in the South. You go beyond NC and the South becomes super red. I have a good friend of mine who lives in Dallas,Texas and says Texas makes NC feel like the Garden of Eden.

Took forever to find out the court is Wake Superior Court. Not the state Supreme Court. The Party of Voter Suppression is going to appeal, so this has a ways to go.

Interesting that plaintiffs argued law went back to post reconstruction laws with the intent to block former slaves from voting - and the court agreed!
