Just how huge will evacuation be?

It is remarkable to me how very large the evacuation from Kabul will be. If sustained through the end of the month, it could approach or even exceed 100,000 people. That is a huge evacuation in a short period of time.

All while the MSM describes the chaos and debacle.

When the evacuation is complete, there will be interesting background stories. For example, how is the cell phone infrastructure being maintained? Cellular and messaging appear to be critical to coordinating things on all sides. I have seen heavy use by the Taliban, know it is key in US informing evacuees.

would account for 80,000+ souls. This morning the WP reported the Biden Administration had evacuated 37,000 out of harm's way, transporting 10,400 in one day.

They keep that pace up, they'll make the deadline, getting as many allies out who want to exit. Which is good bc the Taliban said the deadline of August 31 is an absolute.

The Biden Administration is getting the job done in a dicey war zone, the end of a war that up until recently had no end in sight.

Long overdue! Messy, yes (inevitably so) but necessary.
