Rural MAGA counties are usually the home to state prisons, so those counties will lose some sway.

I'm going to be interested in reading the analysis once all the new districts are drawn nationwide. There are more districts being drawn by Republicans, but most of those states are already gerrymandered to hell anyway, going to be hard for them to squeeze anymore seats out of those states. NY is being redrawn by Dems and they could eliminate 5 GOP House seats altogether. Many states are going towards no partisan redistricting.

I think between the census and redistricting, it might not be more than a couple seats. This isn't going to be a total rigging by the GOP and there's a possibility they lose seats in the redistricting.
