Josh Duggar is on trial for possessing child-pornography and his lawyers have a weird demand.

Duggar, best known for being a part of his family's cable television reality show, is accused of using the internet in May 2019 to download and possess material, some of which depicts the sexual abuse of children younger than 12, according to court documents.

If convicted, Duggar faces up to 20 years of imprisonment and fines up to $250,000 on each count.

In the first motion, Duggar's attorneys argue the government failed to preserve potentially exculpatory evidence: searches done by investigators of electronic devices belonging to three people who, at various times, had access to Duggar's Springdale used car lot and the wireless internet at that location.

He does not want people to be able to recognize his hands.



He is on trial for child-pornography and he doesn't want people to be able to identify his hands when they see them on photo or video.

Apparently the shape of those veins on the back of your hand are as unique as fingerprints.

Are his lawyers really this incompetent? Other devices having access to the (likely intentionally unsecured, so it can be offered as an excuse) access point would not put the files on his device(s). Though, it might show is he might be running a ring if the same files were found on his & other devices that he overtly communicated with.
