Will anyone ever sue De Santis the death of their loved one?

It could be someone who lost someone to Covid or someone who could not get proper care because of Covid patients clogging the system.
Sure seems like there's a case their somewhere.

which requires energy to focus, as well as group/family cohesion; difficult at such a time. (Concentrating on desatan and abbott, and diverting energy from mourning; not sure I could do it.)

Funds are also necessary to pay for suit; such litigation takes a lot of resources.

I was wondering if a certain amount of emotional distress was what you meant.

Re diverting energy from mourning, that might come later, as the people devastated by these losses move through the stages of grief.

Litigation is a huge consumer of resources. Still, people do it. How I don’t know, as I don’t think I could. Look, for example, at sandy hook.

They're not going to get any judgement in the screwed up state of FL.

DeSatan is the chosen one. The public are not going to hold him accountable.

CNN had a story about it tonight. Despite all he's done, he still has strong support in FL, and the majority want him to run for President.

Snip
Throughout Florida's 15 largest school districts, at least 11,851 students and 2,610 employees have tested positive for Covid-19, amounting to more than 14,461 confirmed cases since the school districts started keeping track of cases for the 2021-22 school year, according to a CNN analysis.

He may have strong support with the Trumpsters but he’s despised by a lot of people. Currently, there are more children attending schools with mask mandates than without mandates. This is in open defiance of DeSatan and his threats to withhold funding.

Not absolutely, but if there's even the slightest bit of room for an argument about incompetence or ignorance or differences of political philosophy leading to the outcome in question, then there's almost no chance of such a suit succeeding.

It would have to be an abuse of power or civil rights violation sort of suit, I think, and be rather specific as to the particular victim, not a general or stochastic thing.

All sorts of policy decisions have life and death consequences. Raising speed limits increases traffic deaths, for example. But there is this weird “lawsuit as vehicle to redress whatever I’m upset about” fixation.
