By Josh Israel -August 25, 2021 2:40 PM
Rep. Debbie Lesko (R-AZ) has opposed all of President Joe Biden's jobs legislation.
A House Republican attacked President Joe Biden on Wednesday for having not yet restored all of the millions of jobs lost under former President Donald Trump during his first six months in office.
"Just a reminder, the economy has 5.7 million fewer jobs than before the #COVID19 pandemic and there are 8.7 million Americans who are still without jobs," Rep. Debbie Lesko (R-AZ) tweeted with an image of Biden and the words "Biden's economic crisis."
Lesko is right that not all of the jobs lost since the start of the coronavirus pandemic have returned. After Trump's botched response to COVID-19 left millions of Americans out of work, he left office in January with more than 3 million fewer people employed than at the start of his lone term. According to the Washington Post, Trump is the only president to leave office with significantly fewer people employed than when he entered the White House since the government began tracking the numbers in 1939.

Hey Lesko, I realize that my comments are a day late, but your ilk remind me of the axiom that you are always a day late and dollar short, unless your funded by dark money to fuck over the population and retain power and don't like to look at facts.
You keep forgetting or not, that your ilk had a megalomaniac running around on a golf cart billing the tax payers for over 395 days playing golf, and shoving through a 1.5 trillion dollar tax cut, that I sure as hell didn't get any of, in fact you even signed off, that the last election should be null and void, and to top that all off he has, and you for that matter have over 600,000+ people dead because of your dereliction not to impeach him, twice, and his deadly incompetency>
And in closing on my ... ....
Did you by chance today see the unemployment numbers from today compared to last year, here let's remind your right wing trolls and you....take a gander..... now go back under your libertarian rock... I have more confidence under Biden than your POS former con man ...at least Biden / Harris got a vaccination shot out in the open...

and then things can fully get back to normal. But jobs have been coming back.

help one bit. Ignorant POS.
