Keep 48.8

(27 posts)To a constitutional lawyer on the Thom Hartmann show this morning, anything less will show that more people wanted him gone and the one with this most votes on question two, becomes governor. Not fair, which begs the question, why hasnt a suit been filed? Filing suit after the election will go nowhere. He has to get 50.1 percent or better.

(53,771 posts)of the electorate needs to sign petitions to get a recall going whereas in other states it's 25%.
If the repugs are successful in this recall, it won't hurt us too badly as there will be a normao gubernatorial election in '22 and a Dem will more than likely win it...that is if Feinstein doesn't pass in the meantime.
