If this is unfair of me? I don't care.
I know too many MAGAts, and I assure you they are glad there have finally been some deaths. It was the one thing missing for them in their narrative.

How was Biden expected to coordinate the pullout of Afghanistan only 3 months after being inaugurated? If Trump got elected he would have just done something else to placate the Taliban at the expense of the Afghan government.

Trump brags that no Americans were killed between Feb 2020 and the time he left office-that's because he sold out Afghanistan and made a deal with the Taliban.

Sorry, but I'm pissed that Trump's part in ending this war is not being emphasized, especially when it is a big part of what Biden was left to deal with.

18. Biden was not set up.

Obama wanted to get us out but listened to his people and agreed to give more support a shot.

Biden said he would get us out. He knew it would be messy. The unexpected was the sitting Afghan government abandoning their posts.

My feeling is it is going fine. We are actively working with Taliban security people to get it done. I also heard a general today say that Taliban has managed to stop a number of attacks in advance. It is something they will need to do after we go.
