Anecdote

Talk of Afghanistan in my social media circles is an afterthought. COVID resurgence in schools and rage at the anti-maskers and deniers who have tied our local authorities hands is driving the majority of the engagement I see.

as usual. In the end, most Americans want the war over and I doubt the speed bumps along the way will get much long term play.

Repubs will try to exploit it, again as usual, but the bottom line is we're getting out.
