Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani addressed his drinking during an interview with WNBC surrounding the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.

"At age 77, Giuliani says he's as sharp as ever," Melissa Russo reported. "And he denies claims and published reports and from colleagues that a drinking problem is to blame for the change people perceive in him."

Russo played a clip of the interview.

"Never at all," Giuliani replied. "Never at all."

"Were you drunk during those interviews when they said you were?" she asked.

"Absolutely not," he replied. "I don't think i've ever done an interview drunk."

"I have sometimes -- I mean, I drink normally. I like scotch. I drink scotch," he said. ......(more)

4. I'm surprised that there isn't a video out there on YouTube that mocks G, by displaying a 30 second

video montage or such, of all of G's drunken behavior caught on camera...I'm sure, as much as we've all seen G in his 'moods', that there are plenty of such videos.

I had 3 drunks in my own immediate family, a very unfortunate and difficult thing to handle, and so me, my sister (good sister) and dad have had plenty of experience in handling alcoholics in the family.

Rudi is a different animal. He's abusive, rude, ignorant, and a know-it-all. Above all, he acts just like a normal drunk does, by deny, deny, deny, "No, I am not drunk!, etc.".

They don't ever see the writing on the wall, don't ever admit to the truth, believe me (my sister and I are trying to get my drunk brother into therapy/rehab as we speak now, I'll believe it when I see him walk through the doors myself (my brother even admitted he needed help)).
