An evangelical pastor and senior VP for a non-profit called National Religious Broadcasters was fired on Friday for promoting COVID vaccines on MSNBC’s Morning Joe. When Daniel Darling appeared on the show on Aug. 2, he said his faith motivated him to get vaccinated. “I believe in this vaccine because I don’t want to see anyone else die of COVID,” he said. “Our family has lost too many close friends and relatives to COVID, including an uncle, a beloved church member and our piano teacher.” But National Religious Broadcasters, a 1,100-member organization of Christian communicators, told Darling his statements violated their policy of remaining neutral about COVID vaccines, Religion News Service reports. He was told he could sign a statement admitting he had been insubordinate, and admit that his pro-vaccine statements were wrong, or be fired. He chose the latter.

When you think about it.

Trying to save lives is so Anti-Evangelical.

Everything is all up to God so just pray, and pray, and pray.

Then you should pray some more.

When you are done praying, pray some more for good measure.

Then you should probably pray some more just in case.

If you get sick and die, it's simply God's will, and you just didn't pray enough.

When this is how your mind works, life is simple.

Then they stick the hose down your throat.

He has already answered their prayers, but they refuse to listen. For them, the reason we got the vaccines so quickly was divine intervention. For the rest of us, it’s decades of scientific research on rMNA and genomes plus companies like Pfizer immediately jumping on to vaccine development the instant China released the genetic sequence of Covid-19.

This man cares about his flock but this organization cares more about their politics.

Because they make for good stories. Most Christians are not Evangelicals and don’t subscribe to this thought process. But it’s easier to paint us all with the same brush, just as it’s easier to ascribe one evil action by a Muslim or an African Americans to all of them.

Why is this church tax exempt? Where in the Bible does it say to fire the preacher for disobeying Jesus on vaccinations?

Nowhere, that’s why it isn’t a Christian church and a political cult in a church building.

The old saying goes “just because I stand inside a garage, it doesn’t make me an automobile”.

That’s what (insert the all-powerful deity or force you wish) God says. But they’ve abandoned God to worship the Antichrist 45ii. They won’t accept a gift from God, they have 45ii and the congregation of MAGAts. That’s the food that fuels their anger and prevents them from getting vaccinated.

The “power in numbers” is often stupidity or evil.

If they did, it's possible thousands of COVID cases and deaths would have been prevented.

Time to revisit a classic....
