are following the same course. They use a "national emergency", to crush all opposition, silence moderates, and create new laws that gave him sweeping powers. There was no middle ground, you were either for hitler or against him. He followed a playbook that has inspired autocrats left and right ever since, and with the make-up of the Supreme Court, and the movement of some states with legislation to not only suppress voting, but over-turning elections that they do not agree with, we are right on the precipice of the same path I think.
This has been coming for quite awhile. It seems they finally have all their ducks in a row. We really need to stop this somehow next election. Hopefully its not too late.
