Hurricane weathermen -Where is Anderson Cooper

I was watching MSNBC and heard Al Roker tell anyone who thinks that he is too old to do hurricane coverage what they can do with their criticism.

We have my mother in law watching CNN to see they tie Anderson Cooper to a tree during this coverage. So far it appears that Cooper may have renegotiated his contract to avoid being tied to a tree during coverage.

This is from the Hoarse Whisperer

It's not that the wind is blowin, it's WHAT'S IN the wind that is blowin.

It ain't that the wind is blowin' - it's what the wind is blowin'. If you get hit with a Volvo, it doesn't matter how many sit-ups you did that morning.

When I lived in a hurricane zone--and went through 4 hurricanes--I listed to local radio. It gave info about the path of the hurricane, in detail for the location in question.

I can't say as I blame them too much. It is a rare chance for the meteorologists to gain some esteem.
