They call it a "newsfeed", but it can just be posts from friends, groups etc.

I don't know why they call it a "newsfeed" when all that some people see are family pictures, cats, cooking, gardening, jokes etc....

6. I use Facebook daily to keep up with friends, we organize

our bike rides on Facebook. But just pick out a post about just about anything and eventually some Rethug will have to make some kind of political argument. It is rare to see any initiated by a Democrat.

9. For The Two Months I Used FB...

...I saw exactly as you describe.
I got an FB account because I had no other way to tell my sister my doggie had died. I forgot to program her new # into my phone & she changed her email account.
Coincidentally, a class reunion for my wife came up a few weeks later & all was organized that way.
Before the reunion even occurred, idiots were dropping anti-Obama stuff & quoting Limbaugh's drug addled drivel & O'Reilly's sanctimonious disinformation
DAILY! Geez, almost every hour.
The day after the reunion, I closed the account.
It literally was the defining factor of that 7 or 8 weeks for me.
