On second thought, I don't think Laundrie resides in a gator's belly.

https://news.yahoo.com/brian-laundrie-skilled-solo-wilderness-213312650.html

A former co-worker of Brian Laundrie has said the missing 23-year-old is “well-versed” in surviving in the wild.

The revelation comes as Mr Laundrie, identified as a person of interest in the death of Gabby Petito, has been missing for more than a week.

Investigators have struggled to find any trace of him during six intensive days of searching in the 25,000-acre, swampy Florida reserve where it is believed to have gone. A team of divers joined police and FBI agents using boats and helicopters in the search for him on Thursday.

An unnamed source who used to work with Mr Laundrie told the New York Post that he had once boasted to colleagues he was able to survive on next-to-nothing for weeks on end when camping in the wild.

I think this guy has watched "US Marshalls" movie a few too many times... he's on the run!

Where's Tommy Lee Jones??

One would assume that has been addressed, but...

...and just crossed over. They don't check unless you are coming in by plane.

Illegal immigration in Mexico is a minor infraction...in other words, give the challenging official the money in your wallet and they will leave you alone for awhile.

And if you speak English and can help with tourism...or something a bit shadier. You have a job. Living standards won't be anywhere near that of the USA. But the Federales are overwhelmed with police corruption, drug gangs, gun smuggling from the USA, etc. Immigration is the least of their concerns...we have enough trouble trying to extradite known crime lords.

Most of the time, those who flee there get arrested when they try to get back and think the heat died down.

truck the same day Gabby’s parents reported her missing.

That guy doesn’t look like any kind of survival type to me. Mommy and daddy somehow got him somewhere.

Don’t know about passport questions as they don’t say on local news. His home is about 30 -40 minutes north of here but I don’t care how much survivalist movies or weekend camping outs..this is not the place one would want to escape to. Unless he has suicidal thoughts. I think he’s long gone. Maybe even back out west..quite vast out there n not many alligators.

The guy is a loser, and I don’t believe for a second he could survive “in the wild.”

said that alligators never consume an entire human body. They'll tear off an arm, a leg, or take a chomp out of the torso, but what's left of the body will be found. He said people who try to dispose of bodies by throwing them to the gators are pretty stupid.

called "Hunted"

A team of elite investigators and ex FBI agents tracked down couples. If the couples reached a certain spot in 28 days they won a prize.

The techniques they used to find and track them were very informative. It also said a lot about human nature. Your buddies will drop you like a hot potato for a few grand.

flying a Boeing 757 across the Atlantic.

Go look at that clown's instagram. Barefoot in the desert? Yeah- he sure was- on trails my 84 year old mother and I walked.

He never got over half a mile from his camper.

Furthermore, what's going to take him down is social media. That's all he does- it's what he lives for. I assure you that he is sitting somewhere taking a selfie wondering if he is clever enough to post it without giving his location away.

Pretty sure he has a burner phone and a cheap laptop/ chrome and is reading all about himself right now becoming a legend in his own mind.

Bank robbers usually don't get caught the first time...they get caught after robbing the same bank numerous times.

Don't remember which show I watched, but a guy robbed an armored truck full of money. And the plan was perfect in its process. And the guy got really good at forging ID's, etc. His escape, impressive. The police and FBI assumed this was going to be one of those where "he got away with it".

He went to Mexico (easy place to hide) and rented a cheap flat, another way to throw people off your trail. Only, he didn't bring enough cash with him. So he had to go back to where he stashed it all at a storage place. As soon he crossed over, they had his face "on the look out" cards and was promptly arrested. And since he had his aliases on forged ID's, found the storage locker he hid the money in.

The FBI couldn't believe their luck. He did everything perfectly, except for one mistake.

Did he have a vehicle?
Does he have a passport?
Has he crossed to Mexico?

If not, he'll be found - eventually - one state or another.

They have a complete timeline of his whereabouts from the Police Stop at Arches till his disappearance, and maybe since.

All very peculiar. His Parent's behavior has me wondering if he gaslit them like he gaslit Petito. They've probably told the FBI everything by now.
