with manchin and sinema being so...conservative and untrustworthy. it's quite possible those two will renege on their promises leaving the house bill passed with nothing else

and why the bipartisan bill is unlikely to pass the House unless and until the Senate passes their own reconciliation bill.

(4,732 posts)4. The House has NOT passed anything and Manchin only promised to support it if it was less than 1.5
Trillion. So basically Manchin has been consistent since JULY. Why has Senator Schumer kept this from everyone?

Including Manchin and sinema. Manchin is on record calling for 4 trillion a few years ago.

(4,732 posts)6. Please provide a link where Manchin is supporting 4.0 Trillion in this Congress. I can provide a
link that proves that Manchin informed Sen Schumer that he was on board for only 1.5 Trillion in July if needed.

I wish I had saved it.

Now that he's been taken care of by donors, or whoever, I guess he changed his mind.
brush
(53,769 posts)9. Wasn't it a few months ago he called for four trillion?
That's a fairly recent quote of his. He's all over the place and can't be trusted.
