(6,008 posts)And it's not as good as being vaccinated, as we can see that vaccination reduces hospitalization and death by about a factor more than 10, but this will help with the crush that our hospitals are going through, if we can clear out half of the plague rats who are taking up ~90% of the hospital beds.

(14,958 posts)Merck tried to make a vaccine and failed, and so lost out on how to get rich from this disease, and will say this medicine doesn't really work and it's just Merck's way of profiting from the pandemic.
