(21,693 posts)They'll pay a guy in a strip mall to inject permanent ink under their skin but won't take a free vaccination to save people's lives.
Because they don't trust what is in the vaccine.

(2,809 posts)Pitiful arguments they keep up turn to personal attacks, pseudoscience conspiracy bullshit, pseudo-patriotic shouts of "freedom" devoid of personal responsibility disguising their one vulnerability: FEAR. Baseless, irrational fear. I make them betray their own childish arguments simply by labeling their diatribes, usually in these three aforementioned categories and watch them make angrier tantrums attempting to "trigger the lib" till some just give up, some cross the site TOS reportable transgressions that usually either a moderator or another reader intervenes and wipes out their whole strings. I don't bother. If they keep it up, they'll cross the line.
They've got next to nothing substantial to argue with.
Watch how crazy they get when you simply type: "So, you fear the vaccine". just keep that reworded message coming and cooly categorize their tantrum, make no emotional or statistical appeals. Just watch them sit and spin trying to overcompensate for primordial, limbic, baseless fear. Fear/threat "bullying" reactions erupt almost 100 percent of the time.
Very few will admit that they're compensating for fear. Then link the statistics and end the discussion when they cry "fake news".
History will betray them then.
Often, when I eventually reply to their personal threats, I politely reveal that I'll be far too busy soon caring for mostly unvaccinated seriously ill individuals to take you up on your offer right now, thank you.
One offered to buy me tickets to another country due to my :"freedom undeserving" lack of poster's brand of "patriotism". Backfired with overwhelming, disgusted anger from just about anyone reading it, reminding this person that patriotism involves responsibility overall.
Their illogic eventually overwhelms them, just like above cartoon. Just be the adult in the room.
