(33,252 posts)You're going to need a global reach. There are 340 million users in India, 140 million in Indonesia, 130 million in Brazil. That's a lot of people to convince.
Maybe on Instagram? No, owned by FB. Maybe on TikTok? Owned by China. YouTube?
Easier if FB learns to stop Russian Trolls from poisoning the well. That would help, but they don't seem to know how.

(2,671 posts)and to know what and when events are happening in my community. I would HATE to lose it. In my almost 70 years as a member of a family and a community, it has been the best way ever to feel connected and in the loop. I don't want it shut down, although I'm sure something else would spring up in its place.
I'm just grateful for the connection.

Just remember if something is free you are the product being sold.

(9,090 posts)to put down - and a lot of the facebook shit is only effective because it follows crap that was established over years of unchallenged repetition - most of it coming from rw and russian think tanks, channeled out of limbaugh's ass, and amplified by a few hundred other lying racist blowhards
if facebook was smart it would uses their AI to monitor rw radio so they could track down the crap a lot easier
