These rich guys would usually do better to pick a good democratic candidate or cause and back it with their money, not run in vanity campaigns intended to bolster their personal fortune and power.

(9,072 posts)This is one of those odd impressions people got. They heard "tech" and immediately assumed he was loaded. He only had a few million, maybe, when he ran in 2020.
He was literally one of the least well off people running in that campaign.
