Tin foil Romney theory: Rove tactics return

Why are Gingrich and part of the GOP allowed to undermine Romney this way? This is unprecedented since Reagan....and can't help Romney, the inevitable nominee (unless a brokered convention happens). What does Gingrich gain? Why would he risk his GOP/DC insider card? Perplexing....

Some are talking about Gingrich doing Romney a favor by getting this out now so that the issue is stale by summer and the general election. Could be, but a detailed 30 minute movie is overly harsh if that's the case.

Why not go beyond that a bit and consider that the GOP has put up this giant hit piece only to knock it down themselves later? This is something that Rove, and/or others, have done before. Rove apparently bugged his OWN OFFICE in hopes of discovering it and blaming others. Didn't work, but the idea of creating a false story has been a hallmark of his work. SOMEONE forged memos to Dan Rather and then exposed them as false documents to squash a story that otherwise had legs. Didn't matter that gist of the memos were true, the taint of the forgery was enough to kill the problem.

What if the GOP and it's die-hard GOP donor Adelson circulate this movie then sometime in coming months find out that several items in the movie were inaccurate or false? Romney becomes a victim, Gingrich apologizes for being duped and misled, Gingrich and Perry and Santorum endorse Romney, the meme of Romney as Gordon Gecko goes away even though Romney really is a vulture capitalist.

Rove is a Romney backer.

some people hate him. He has enemies.

Remember how he rat-fucked McCain? Then McCain came back and won the GOP nomination in 2008.

Gingrich wants to win the nomination, that's his motivation.

After Bush won the presidency, McCain couldnt grovel low enough. McCain "won" the nomination in 2008 only because the powers to be wanted him to win, the hapless asshole. The powers ran an idiot in 2008 just like they are going to in 2012. Rove most likely has the stuff to take out which ever clown the powers dont want in there. He probably help eliminate Cain. And most likely is responsible for the hits on Huntsmen by the Paul camp.

Keep your eye on Rove. He isnt the power but he represents the power.

Newt was, and is, truly pissed off about what happened in Iowa and is simply preparing some sauce for gander. He is doing so by highlighting the natural fissure between the so-called Reagan Democrats and the Club for Growth Republicans that are two constituencies within the Republican Party.

Bain is like Keystone for Democrats; it puts a wedge between two groups in a party.
