One security can be heard yelling stop repeatedly as he attempted to shoo the Eagles fan away. But the Philly fan was relentless, continuing to beat the Chiefs rooter while he was being huddled over by security.
Once satisfied, the Eagles fan casually walked away through the crowd. He lost his shirt during the scuffle, but the Chiefs fan may have lost consciousness if security took any longer to get to the scene.

(10,150 posts)This is America. Any jackass can pull a knife or gun on someone who tries to intervene. Plus I'm not surprised given its Eagles fans and they are some of the most vile fucking fans in the league. And I am an Eagles fan.

(10,150 posts)Eagles are fucking awful this year and everyone hyped the fans up over Jalene Hurts being the next coming of Donovan McNabb and well...the team is proving to be a humongous disappointment and fans are angry and frustrated. No excuse for hurting each other, but it's a huge reason behind it. But Eagle fans been shit for many decades now. It's no surprise.

(3,461 posts)Every week you can find several similar videos. Ive been to many a game and have witnessed many a fight. Ive never been compelled to step in. Taking on angry drunks and their friends is not why I go to games. Security gets paid for that.

(18,497 posts)If you film it you can turn it over to the police and/or the victim or their lawyer.
And it is probably not a good idea to wear a jersey for a rival team at a sporting event, unfortunately.
Or cheer for them around drunks and their equally drunk, loud obnoxious friends.

(93,873 posts)In today's society, you would be a fool to do so. Were either of the people armed? Were either of the people infected with COVID? Especially in a setting where there is a security force (however long it took them to arrive), you is no point is intervening in a conflict with two people you don't know.
