Capitol Police are investigating a suspicious vehicle in front of the Supreme Court on Tuesday morning, a day after the court convened for a new session.
A notice from the Capitol Polices Twitter account shortly before 10 a.m. urged people to stay away from the area. Road closures around the Supreme Court, which is just across the street from the Capitol, are currently in effect during the investigation.
Tuesdays incident comes less than two months after a North Carolina man parked his car on the sidewalk in front of the Library of Congress which is also a short walk from the Capitol and the Supreme Court and claimed he had a bomb.

About the "suspicious vehicle" in front of SCOTUS, police say:
- The suspect illegally parked. Cops approached and he said "the time for talking is done." Tactical teams removed him.
- Motivations unclear for now. No weapons found.
- Suspect is a 55 year-old from Michigan.
