When Perez was confronted, he admitted doing it because he “thought it was stupid for people to be out shopping and he was trying to scare people (away) from the stores in order to stop them from spreading the virus.”
Perez also told the agent that he was not sick, no one in his family was sick, that he did not know anyone with coronavirus and that he had lost his job because of the “shelter in place” orders triggered by the pandemic.

This Perez guy talks like he's on the west side of San Antonio, but his residence is on the northside..northside don't say, "mercado, homegirl, nogalitos" etc

Christopher Combs, the special agent in charge of San Antonio's FBI division, said even if the threat was not carried out, it poses a "significant cost on our community."

It sounds like he was trying to target HEB stores. There is probably more to this story. People are always posting dumb stuff. I belong to a shopping group that sprung up when we were trying to find toilet paper. The mods had to work kinda hard to make sure info was accurate.
