The media will portray a $2 trillion+ bill as a loss for the President. Fuck 'em.

The "liberal media" is, and always has been, a right wing fever dream.
The facts are as follows:
President Obama, God love him, made a basic mistake in 2009. Trusting the Republican party to do what was best for the country, he asked for what was actually needed to rebound from the disastrous Republican policies which led to the Great Recession in his proposed American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. The Repukes, not wanting him to succeed, and not giving a fuck about the economy or the suffering of millions of Americans, eviscerated the bill. The end result was that, while people were still helped, it was not the resounding success it could have been, and the Pukes were able to lie about "the slowest economic recovery ever".
Joe Biden, wily old fox that he is, was not about to play their silly game.
He asked for more than he wanted, knowing that the final bill would contain less, while still being sufficient to the nation's needs.
The media will try to spin this negatively, but it is incumbent on us to not only not believe their bull shit, but to actively push back on it.

4. And if there was no bill, or a bill for a hundred bucks or a hundred trillion the President

would be damned in the media. When you have a Fascist nation, you have a Fascist press to go along with it. They know where their bread is buttered...They want to bring back Trump, a President who can do no wrong, to continue the process of making us great again.
