I'm watching 'Law and Order' episode 'Patient Zero'. It's about a Corona Virus!

It's a 2003 episode. They are searching for the initial infected patient to avoid a pandemic. One character, who they think released the virus by injecting some woman with it, just said (paraphrasing) 'It's not much worse than the flu.'

Even though I've seen every episode many times, I love that show. Especially how they wrote shows that mirror actual events. They had one that was like the Ira Einhorn murder case, one where the woman ran over her husband multiple times, one that was pretty much about Robert Durst. Loved that show.

What I meant was pandemics shouldn’t be a surprise. We’ve known what they are for a long time.

6. A lot of people knew this was coming. One of the things that makes L&O so great is they read...

… the major newspapers. I used to watch it regularly, and mentally played “spot the headline news and its accurate portrayal.”

is sad. I spotted Fran Liebowitz playing a judge in a brief scene...it was a "thing"to do a spot on that show (brief). Sometimes it drives me crazy "I know that actor and can't remember his/her name!"

I went to Carnegie Tech with Frank Converse and he has been on the show a couple of times.

My ex died in late August, btw, and I visited in his rehab place a few weeks earlier with our son. Sad. I am not going to his "celebration of life" which my daughter somehow thinks is necessary. No, it isn't.
