How important is the Select Committee in the course of American history?

How will they be remembered?

Much of it will depend on what they do, I suppose?

They are about the only buffer the American people have at this moment between the lawless autocrats and the continuation of democracy in this country, in my opinion.

We cannot see the significance of their efforts at this time, but history may record it as one of the most relevant and essential Committees in history. Their importance cannot be over-stated.

Let us hope they have the stamina and the courage to keep politics out of their hearings and the wisdom to understand their role in the saving of our democracy.

1. They better be ready to enforce some subpoenas

or democratic voter turnout next year will be dismal.

needs to find evidence of criminal behavior and refer it to Justice. It will be up to our DOJ to take it from there.

3. Depends on whether they get DOJ to arrest the subpoena-defiers.

And that depends on Garland, unless he gets replaced.

5. Almost, shouldn't need a select committee

if DOJ did its job. We even have a 6 point plan to overturn an election, in writing. There is so much evidence to warrant our DOJ getting involved. It has more power than a select committee.

6. I don't know what other "evidence" they may be looking for?

As if what we have already seen is nothing that can be proven in court?
