government negotiate for prices of drugs. Yeah, they went there. CNN

It was because it wasn't worth it, that it was not big bucks for the pharmaceutical industry.

vaccine that was used during the outbreak in Liberia. Yes government labs are necessary for when the market fails. But more to the point of the ad the rest of the world negotiates down the price of pharmaceuticals and big Pharma still finds it good money to sell drugs in these other countries.
