The school failed to protect him.

He failed to realize nothing in grade school and high school matters. You can forget all those troubles the second you never have to go back.

Now his bully gets to send him letters in prison for the rest of his life asking how he likes the bullying in prison he gets every day and if he found a gun to defend himself from it.
