Real Time with Bill Maher continues its 19th season Friday, October 8 (10:00-11:00 p.m. live ET/tape-delayed PT), with a replay at 12:10 a.m., exclusively on HBO.

This week features a one-on-one, in-person interview with Steven Pinker, Harvard psychology professor and author of Rationality: What It Is, Why It Seems Scarce, Why It Matters.

This week's in-studio panel discussion will include Robert Costa, national political reporter for The Washington Post and co-author of the new book, PERIL, with Bob Woodward; and Michael Render (a.k.a. Killer Mike), activist and musician who's one half of the group Run The Jewels. Their latest album, RTJ4 DELUXE, is out now across digital platforms.

3. The first guest sounds interesting, hadn't heard of him before.

But then I was a psych major.

And we may hear more revelations from Robert Costa, looking forward to that.

4. Always learn something interesting from his show. I usually cringe a few times too.

5. So do I, but it depends on the guests.

And he's had some good ones recently, Malcolm Nance, Rob Reiner and Max Brooks. At least we're no longer seeing the "token" right-wingers like Rick Santorum and Amy Holmes.

6. I just can't handle his ignorance about COVID-19. There have been segments where he

was nearly as dangerous as F...ker Carlson.

7. Rationality is interesting. About how people believe whatever is pumped

at them including Hillary using that pizza parlor for child trafficking.

Costa,of course will be interesting. Don’t know about “Killer Mike,,”
