MyPillow CEO and right-wing conspiracy theorist Mike Lindell has claimed that an 850-year-old voted in the 2020 Election, as well as more than 2000 people who were aged over 200.
Lindell, who for months has claimed he has proof that the 2020 election results were hacked despite never providing anything remotely substantial, gave no further details such as the name of the apparent 850-year-old, or where they voted.
The clip of Lindell making the unsubstantiated claims on his own website was posted onto Twitter by Salon reporter Zachary Petrizzo.
"I'm going to give an example today, and I'm not going to say what state we pulled from the voter rolls to one of our team, we have a team that goes through all of it now with this other system that pulls up all anomalies. What I mean by that is five people voting from the same address," Lindell said.

(1,517 posts)So, Mike Lindel is saying that somebody that died in 1171 AD voted in an election?
Would love to know the mechanism that allowed this to happen. Could it be the Jewish space lasers?
The stupid is strong in this one.
The sad truth is that there are people out there that will hear this and accept it without question.

(34,136 posts)Here, there are families that have owned the same land since the Civil War with multiple houses on that land. Often, there are four, sometimes five generations living on that piece of land with people moving from home to home as needed to care for family members. One of those families had thirteen potential voters at the same address back in 2008 when I was making contact lists for our Obama volunteers - and a lot more people living at that address.
Heck, back in 2008 after I built my house I gave away my thirty year old double wide to a family that had three generations living in an RV. Their house had burned to the ground and there were twelve people packed into that RV. Since it would have cost me thousands to trash the mobile home, when I heard about their situation, it was a good choice to give them the doublewide. They are still using it, having done some improvements on it. The RV is still there, and still being used as a living space but I am sure at this point there are no longer a dozen people packed into it.
But "five people voting from the same address" is a bullshit remark. I guess Lindell thinks the only types of people who should vote are the classic WASP nuclear family with two parents, 2.3 children with only two voters at an address.
What the hell is wrong with some people? College living by itself will get you half a dozen roomies.
Good for you for giving away the double-wide what a great solution for your problem and what a welcome opportunity for that family.

(34,136 posts)Of course the GQP doesn't want college students to vote anyway.
I was so happy to be able to help out that family! I really liked that house and we'd done all kinds of improvements - new siding, new roof, new floors, new cabinets. But it needed new plumbing and I just didn't want to invest that much more into it. The father in the family worked with plumbing so he could do that work himself and teach his son as he did it, so that was not a problem for them.
I can tell they love the house - we drive by it some times and the house and yard look great.

(10,133 posts)At times we had 4-6 legitimate voters at the same address - it wasn't uncommon. Says a lot more about Lindell's socio-economic background than any sort of fraud attempt.

Anyway, if Anne Hathaway was over 18 and a US citizen, why couldn't she vote? (I'm sure I'm missing an LA reference here)

The one whos the cute actor who starred in The Princess Diaries, The Devil Wears Prada and The Dark Knight Rises? Yeah, shes a leftist. Definitely a Biden voter.

(4,533 posts)When a person is first registered into a database there may be missing information, to be entered later. In some instances a date of birth musf be entered to create the database entry, but it is not yet known by the person entering the data. So an obviously false birth date is temporarily entered. By entering an obviously wrong date it will be clear that the correct date must be obtained and entered. One standard procedure is to enter the birth date January 1 1900. In previous voter fraud claims investigations Trump supporters found many voters who were listed as 120 years old. That was because they had a data entry birth date of Jan 1 1900, per office procedure pending receipt of a copy of a birth certificate or something.

Actually, I suspect "fat fingering" on the part of some low-paid civil service clerk for the age discrepancies.
