Literally this shit happened during the 2010 midterms when Democrats were trying to distance themselves away from Obama and the ACA. And how the fuck did that work out for them? If Terry loses. It'll be his own fucking fault

has nothing to do with winning or doing a great job.

He won. He is doing a good job. Guess what, he's still under 50 percent.

He ain't popular right now.

Is that his fault? No. Is it permanent? No.

Is it reality? Yes.

Leave fantasy to the other side, we deal in the real.

His ratings are related to Afghanistan. Which history will judge him well on. And we DEMS know that that clusterfuck was very much a Trump stink.

Do you have another measure of current popularity?

It's not just Afghanistan.

You seem very tied to the idea that he has to be popular no matter what because he's awesome.

Obama was awesome and he had several periods of unpopularity.

He was talking his team and it got leaked.

He wasn't talking in an interview or a comment intended for public view.

Let's run away from the president because the conservatives don't like him.

DEmocrats did this with Clinton, the did this with Obama and now they are starting to do this with Biden. Maybe McCauliffe would rather have Monster45 back. Come on Terry, don't fuck this up.

he has made more than one blunders and this election should be in the bag for him especially because youngkin is a trumpanzee (love this word, glad to find out i'm not the only one to use it.)
but the polls are close and that defies logic.

perhaps he's blaming the closeness on Biden's numbers

That is the most educated, most affluent, most populous part of the whole state. No statewide race is won by a Democrat if the voters in Fairfax County get alienated and stay home.

As a former governor AND former DNC chair, he HAS to be aware of that.
