Middle school teacher filmed removing her face mask and intentionally breathing on cornered student

A Texas middle school teacher has been filmed removing her face mask and intentionally breathing on a student, the Daily Mail reported.

The educator, who has not been named, was caught on camera shouting, "I don't care," while she cornered the student at Mead Middle School in Houston during an altercation that took place on September 17.

The student can repeatedly be heard in the footage asking the teacher to "get out of my face."

It is not clear what led to the altercation.

The video, widely shared on social media, shows the maskless teacher breaching the school district's COVID-19 protocols and proceeding to exhale in close proximity to the student deliberately.

Someone like that should not be alone with children. The idea that she is a . . . a teacher is not only disturbing, but also a sign that they are scraping the bottom to find teachers.

I don't care what may have precipitated it.
It's unacceptable.
In school, I'm "Mr. C, that scientist sub who's really strict about masks."
If I take off my mask to take a drink of water, I step out the door & turn my back to the room. Then, mask back on & walk back in.
It's inexcusable to not have the mask on in the classroom, let alone this behavior.

It is a deadly disease the teacher potentially breathes on a child.

An educator, especially, would know 713,000 Americans have died from COVID-19.

Where our dear governor has refused to allow school districts to require masks. Those doing it anyway are in defiance of his orders. Houston probably is, but I guess they've got a GOP voter there in that teacher.

Bullying students is not acceptable behavior, even if we weren't in the middle of a pandemic.

Whatever profession they are in.

Yes, student probably riled up the teacher. A skill needed in teaching, don't let kids wind you up!

(This comes from a retired teacher 40 years in the job, now 10 years out of it. It's the first thing you learn.)

maybe some teachers should find different jobs, like prison guard or CIA torturer.

She was aggressive- and complained about me to the principal about refusing to laminate several yards of material on the last day of school (that went nowhere).

Ran into her at a meeting a year or so later- found out she was fired from her new school- not sure why.

In 2019 she made the news for getting hit and killed by a car.

My whole experience with her was just bizarre. This woman looks just as nutty. I don't know how these people get hired.
