Update to my GoFundMe fundraiser

This is my final update. Mom is doing better. I can’t imagine where she would be without DU’s generosity! She wasn’t even functioning before the fundraiser. I am leaving the fundraiser up until October 20. This is a 5 week wait for mom’s Social Security and she could still use a little more breathing room and less stress. Whatever you can do in the week I keep the fundraiser up would be appreciated.

The hole my mom was in was even worse than I thought. Yes we are in better shape for sure but still uncomfortable.

5. I have set a final goal

It’s $2,750. I want to be transparent, so here is how I came to that number: I looked at the expenses mom has left for the month and if she will have any money left to avoid an overdraft cycle I want to get her out of.

So final goal is set and the fundraiser will be open one more week.

6. Again my main reason for this last attempt

is to make the make the last week before mom’s SS as stress free as possible. $2,750 is just a goal - every little bit helps.

I thought DU would come through, but it has definitely surpassed my expectations!

My mom is in better shape thanks to DU, but she is still a little tight until the 27th of October. I really want her to be happy. So I am bringing this up again. Monday remains the last day I bring the thread up.
