General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsI watched John King covering the reconciliation bill on CNN and it occurred to me that
corporate media pundits when reporting on polls or news never report on questions like and perhaps pollsters never seem to ask universal questions such as "do you believe said policy will be good for the nation?
Instead the corporate media loves to focus almost exclusively on the individual interest and division whether it be party, demographics etc. the more they can magnify fractures in policies the better, because it helps to both confuse the public while also setting subconscious frames which can then be used to benefit the mega rich and powerful.
I can't remember when the last time was that I heard them report on any "public good" questions.
I believe oligarchs and corporations in general do not like universality, that's truly why they're into "means testing" it helps creates fractures while weakening support for universal programs and I must say they have been wildly "successful," for it has been a long time since American Society has been this fractured.

This is what we are dealing with, and we can complain all we want, but that wont change a thing. We very little leverage over Manchin and Sinema
