asked the tech administering if she was vaxed. Answer was yes. I told her good cause if she wasnt I would have left.
She went on to tell me that hospital policy is everyone must be vaxed. I said great. She thought so too. She did tell me they lost a few in the department who refused. I said good riddance to them they dont belong around sick people.

(82,849 posts)You know the anti-vaxx knuckleheads support each other no matter how unhinged a person sounds about the Covid vaccines. There is no HIPAA prohibition against asking a person if he, she or they have been vaccinated. And have your response prepared regardless of the answer (yes, no, not tellin', none of your beeswax, that's a violation of HIPAA (no, it's not), or whatever).
